About me, Nicole Taylor, a proud Wiradjuri woman from Leeton NSW, is a self-trained artist who paints from her heart, her story and her tradition. Her colourful paintings depict stories of the land, her passions for fauna and flora. Much of her work is inspired by her childhood and adult life experiences. Taken from school at age 13 and growing up in Traditional ways on the Lachlan River with her mother and father until becoming a adult. Gifted from a very young age, Nicole started to draw as soon as she was able to hold a pen. Her father, with whom she was very close, dubbed her ‘Walkaboutgirl’ because as a youngster she rarely stayed in one spot! Nicole now channels her energy into creation in diverse media including dot painting, and Traditional and contemporary styles,
